You must adhere to specific time frames for serving the motion, which I have detailed in a previous video. However, today, we will specifically focus on the required documents. First, you will need Form FL 300, which is the document you file to request a hearing. If your request involves custody, visitation, or any matters related to children, you will also need a mediation date. You can obtain this from the court's mediation office before filing your motion. It is crucial to have a mediation date scheduled before receiving a court date for your motion.
